I am overwhelmed with the number of elements Fall-13 Couture turned out with. Free-spirited yet clever juxtaposition of several ingredients of design in a single piece can take up hours of appreciation (for they are detailed).
Christain Dior : With his first couture collection for Christain Dior, Raf Simons took freedom of amalgamating components from all over the world, brought together by his sole passion for creativity. Of all, obi(Japanese) inspired belts and line of buttons that conjure sailor look(American) were most evident. Vivid hues created a cheerful palette. Stripes and checks knitted dresses perfected blended the two.
My Favourite: Too blue springy neck-peice and all those gorgeous shoes.
Chanel: Karl Lagerfeld happened again (do I need to say anything more?!). Only he can manage creating enchanting tweed ensemble with sci-fi theme. Sequinned panels and three-dimensional surfaces surprised every time.
Time to learn. Sequins and tweed go more than well together.
My favorite: I am digging that crystal hair clip and wanna learn how-to do that puff.
